A Filipina and two Nigerians were arrested in Malaysia while they were allegedly trying to smuggle in drugs into Kuala Lumpur last week.
According to a report of Malaysia’s “The Star” on Wednesday, the three were arrested while trying to smuggle in 4.58 kilos of heroin in a bag at 4:55 a.m. on September 30.
The report did not name the three persons.
“The Star” said the incident was one of seven separate incidents of attempted drug smuggling from September 26 to October 3 where the drugs intercepted were worth RM2.17 million (P29.90 million).
In the seven separate raids, the police seized over 10 kilos of heroin and almost five kilos of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu), the report said. – VVP, GMA News
