The Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong advised the public it will be closed from December 25 to 27 (Sunday to Tuesday) for the Christmas holidays.
In an announcement posted on its website late Tuesday, the Consulate General advised those with emergency inquiries to call it at its hotline.
“Services will resume to the public on 28 December 2011 (Wednesday),” it said.
Those with emergency inquiries regarding consular services may call the Consulate General’s hotline at 291554023.
Proclamation 84 of 2010, which declared the regular holidays for 2011, only lists December 25, Christmas Day, as a holiday. — RSJ, GMA News
