Philippine authorities in Maldives have secured presidential pardon for seven overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) convicted for credit card theft in 2009.
Forty overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) recently returned to the country from Maldives after they reportedly suffered unjust working conditions such as the non-payment of wages and lack of food and potable water.
